PSKiss Pixel Gear – Installation Guide

Welcome to the future of Digital Image Processing – Pixel Bender Filters.

We are proud to be the first company to offer real time image processing tools based on Pixel Bender technology.

If you are using Adobe Photoshop CS4 or CS5, in order to enjoy our filters, you must first install the Pixel Bender Plug-In.

Please follow these few simple steps:

• Download Pixel Bender Plug-In Ver. 2.2/2.3 for Photoshop CS5/CS5.1.
• If you use Photoshop CS4, download from here. Scroll to Archived downloads.
• If you don’t have an Adobe ID, you will be asked to create one. It is free of charge.
• After installing Pixel Bender Plug-In (scroll down for installation guide),unzip the PSKiss Filter pack you purchased.

  

• Quit Photoshop if it is running.
• Copy the filter file (only the file with .pbg suffix).
• Locate the Pixel Bender Files folder:On Windows, the path would be:

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS5\Pixel Bender Files.

  On Macintosh the path would be:

  Applications> Photoshop CS5> Pixel Bender Files.

• Paste the filter file into this folder:
• Relaunch Photoshop.
• To uninstall a filter – simply drag it out of the Pixel Bender Files  folder.

Installing PSKiss Pixel Gear panels (panels available only in Photoshop CS5)

After installing the Pixel Bender file, install its panel:

• Double-Click the panel file (Vista and Win7 users, see special note):

• This will launch Adobe Extensions Manager CS5 (or CS4):

• Click “Accept” to install the panel:

Special note for Vista and Windows 7 users:

• Click the Start Menu > Programs.
• Locate “Adobe Extension Manager CS5″.
• Right click on it, choose “Run As Administrator” and Approve it.
• 

• Continue the installation steps.

Continue (all operating systems):

• Quit the Extensions Manager and launch Photoshop.
• Go to Window > Extensions and select the PSKiss panel you just installed:
