One the most annoying effects in digital photography is “digital noise” – those unwanted colored spots that appears on the image.

Here is a quick way to get rid of it:

Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and drag the slider until the noise is blurred. Don’t exaggerate… You don’t want to get a smeared photo… Click OK.

Now, got to Edit > Fade Gaussian Blur:

Choose Color from the drop down menu in the dialog box:

That’s it!

The colored noise is all gone:

Removing the grey grain is a whole different story…

This will be handled in future products.
